Kill and identify the bandit target is a Freeplay side mission featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha.
Notes[]
- Later in the game, but before actual Freeplay is entered at the conclusion of the plot; a trio of Spetsnaz Military spawn at the derelict filling station up the road from the Monolith Base in the Dark Valley.
- The soldiers are not immortal and may also fall prey to the bloodsucker in the nearby office structure.
- Two of them refer the player to their company leader, who will offer an optional mission to travel to the Bandit's Village near Dead City to perform a stalker elimination.
- The objective (Borzij) carries a PDA, the retrieval of which is an integral part of the mission (Borziy's PDA)
Gameplay[]
- The bandit company carry NATO weaponry.
- The undergrowth and general cover in the Bandit's Village is considerable.
- The player will need to return with the PDA and give it to the leader of the Spatsnaz group to conclude the mission.
- The mission will not be re-offered if initially declined.
Trivia[]
- As noted earlier, the soldiers may fall prey to the nearby Bloodsucker.
- The nearest blowout shelter is at the Monolith Base which may contain remnant enemy units.
- The Spetsnaz stance towards the player will be either "hostile/neutral" or better, depending upon how far they have progressed in the game.
