Hell is a unique artifact in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha. It was first introduced in v1.4002.

An unique artifact was found at the bottom of the huge gravitational anomalies. It has strong healing properties and can only appear at the confluence of variety of circumstances and with a very small probability, which makes it very expensive, but very useful. It will interest scientists or buyers of expensive artifacts, although you can afford to leave.
- Inventory description, v1.4002 - 1.4007

Overview[]

  • The only instance is found in the wild in Countryside, on the bottom of an anomaly-infested pit north of the Water Dam.
  • The artifact provides massive health regeneration and bleed reduction, at the cost of considerable radiation and a severe penalty to heat defense.

Notes[]

  • Players will usually stumble upon it while trying and failing to reach the infamous Leap of Faith stash.
  • This artifact is easy to reach, but hard to get off with. While it may be possible to scale the walls of the pit with enough speed, the "intended" way to leave is as follows:
    1. Find a teleportation anomaly located around one of the pillars in the pit and enter it.
    2. Each teleport will take you higher up the pillar, at which point you will need to look for the next teleport nearby and jump into it.
    3. After passing through the chain of teleports, you will end up at the top of the pillar, at the Leap of Faith stash.
    4. Wait for it to rain. Raindrops will reveal an invisible bridge spanning from the outhouse to the concrete pipe sticking out from the Water Dam.
      • The bridge can technically be scaled blind without rain, but doing so requires a lot of trial and error because of its irregular shape. Thrown bolts pass through the bridge with no reaction.
  • Approaching the center of the pit will deal periodical damage to the player, as if it was a giant, invisible Springboard anomaly.

Trivia[]

  • Pre-v1.4007 the artifact was using the Flame inventory icon.
