Overview[]
- Another continuity task that sees the player re-enter Countryside to travel to the Water Dam in search of a Functional psi-helmet.
Notes[]
- The countryside is very pretty and walking (or running) is a possibility.
- There is a serviceable UAZ Jeep just outside the military checkpoint.
- Taking it poses a few minor logistical problems due to the military understanding of the road territory. The player needs to proceed on foot roughly as shown in the gallery picture leaving and then rejoining the road. Once the 'all clear' is given, the player may run back (along) the road and branch off to the jeep without incident. Taking the indicated detour (in the car) will ensure that peaceful return is possible later on.
- Leaving the jeep on the road near the Water Dam avoids local mutants further on.
- Descending by ladder to the blocked underground section concludes the mission when the cutscene plays out and the player is re-tasked.
Trivia[]
- The quest articles found in the Water Dam will become dead weight for the player if Deedee locks the outer door of his bunker (v1.3003)
- Ensuring that a peaceful return is possible later on will help in resolving the "5947" side-mission if that is activated by talking with Hermit.
