Overview[]
- One of the various Basic Equipment items that the player receives at the start of the game.
- A powerful headlight that shines a bright light where the player is looking.
- Runs on batteries which need to be replaced every so often (batteries have a "time to die" value of 3000 game seconds (v1.3003) later versions may differ)
- Can also be found on many dead enemies usually in discharged condition.
Notes[]
- The units are detachable and may be discarded, unlike some Basic Equipment items.
- This may be of use to the player in the early game when Alkaline batteries appear to be in short supply and Night vision non-existent.
Trivia[]
- The aperture of illumination of the Flashlight was exceptionally poor in v1.30013 and was subsequently upgraded.
