Lost Alpha Wiki

The Cheap stalker suit is an armour featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha.

A cheaper variant of the common stalker suit. It is a combination of a light cheap bulletproof vest and of a rubberized fabric suit of bad quality. Because of its cheapness and availability it is popular among stalkers on the outskirts of the Zone, although as a whole this variant is highly insufficient even for shallow raids and operations within the outskirts of the Zone. Sometimes it difficult to distinguish from the "expensive" original, which sells by some traders, but the weight of the suit distinguishes the fake from the original.
- PDA description, v1.4005

  • A lighter and cheaper version of the Stalker suit with inferior protective properties.
  • Renamed to "Sunrise-5" suit in v1.4007.
  • The Tourist suit is a unique variant of this suit (v1.4007).

  • The v1.3003 gamefiles previously specified a 5.0kg version of the Stalker suit with slightly reduced burn, strike and wound characteristics for a base price of 13000 Ru.
  • Presumably this has now been implemented as the Cheap stalker suit with reworked statistics.

  • While coded as a variant of the Stalker suit up to v1.4005 the "Sunrise-5" suit in v1.4007 has an independent definition in the gamefiles.
  • The suit's internal ID was changed in v1.4007 from stalker_outfit_cheap to stalker_light_outfit.
